The contemporary guest rooms all have a different colour scheme and named after Sicilian artists. They all have memory foam mattress, en suite bath or shower room, air conditioning, safe, minibar, hairdryer, WiFi, satellite TV with DVD player and kettle.

Executive Junior Suite  (sleeping up to 4) split over two floors and ideal for families these rooms have a double bedroom and a separate room with 2 single beds or a sofa bed. There is a private terrace overlooking the inner courtyard.

Unique Suite  (sleeping up to 4) on 2 floors with a spacious lounge area and modern bedroom, private terrace and en suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath.

The restaurant, located on the first floor with an outside terrace, serves a varied breakfast including a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, fresh fruits, juices, cold cuts, bacon, eggs, cheeses and Sicilian specialities. For dinner the restaurant serves a range of authentic Sicilian dishes based on traditional recipes and prepared using fresh, locally sourced products. The restaurant is situated in the eves of the building with an outside terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

During the summer months, lunch (extra cost) and dinner are served in a garden gazebo near the pool (dependant upton weather conditions) with occasional barbecues on the lawns.

There is a Pool Bar Chiringuito for drinks throughout the day and also an American Bar by the reception hall.

A real feature of the hotel is a large beach effect ‘wade in’ pool surrounded by citrus trees, sunbeds, hammocks, armchairs, bar and complimentary pool towels are provided. There is a second, smaller heated seawater 'Bio-pool' in the gardens with a whirlpool and is also equipped with sunbeds.

The hotel also features a small wellness centre which has a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, showers and massage area offering a wide range of treatments (on request, extra cost).  

The hotel has a 24 hour reception providing hotel and local information, room service, shuttle service to Syracuse (on request, extra cost), w ine tours and local food tastings .  The reception can also book sunbeds and parasols on a local beach or alternatively are able to lend parasols to guests when visiting the local beaches or nature reserves.

There is also an indoor games room with table tennis, table football and Nintendo Wii, library, computer and there are bicycles available for guests use. 

In addition the hotel offers several facilities and services to ensure that children are entertained with a Children's Club (10:30am-12:30pm and 3:30pm-7:30pm, from 3 years), an outdoor play area, shallow area of the pool and babysitting/childcare (on request, some extra cost).

Situated in the Ciane and Saline Nature Reserve, Hotel Borgo Pantano is situated approximately 7km away from Syracuse, a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site and a city rich in Greek and Roman architecture and which Cicero once considered to be the most beautiful of all the Greek cities.

Perhaps most famously, the city of Syracuse is home to one of the greatest ancient Greek theatres dating back to the 5 ^th century BC and large enough to hold an audience of up to 15,000. This theatre draws history enthusiasts from all over the world and is still used to this day in the annual Greek theatre festival.

With other attractions such as the 3 ^rd century Roman amphitheatre and the archaeological museum as well as an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars, Syracuse is well worth visiting along with the rocky Necropolis of Pantalica which together are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
