This newly refurbished luxury country resort is reminiscent of an ancient Sicilian stately home surrounded by lush greenery, comprising centuries-old olive trees, tall palm trees, impressive fountains and featuring tiles finely decorated with Sicilian patterns. The elegant, spacious and refined guest suites have been beautifully designed in a traditional Italian style arranged in two storey wings of the building. All the Suites have balconies or private terraces bringing brightness into the rooms. The furnishings, all recently renewed, are refined and elegant, meticulously appointed, in delicate shades of pearl white and cashmere grey. The high semi-vaulted ceilings have touches of Baroque plaster in the decorations to emphasise the Island’s elegant and authentic style. 

The Suites range from 48sqm to 135sqm all with king size bed or twin beds, sitting area, 50”LCD TV, telephones, writing desk, minibar, safe, hairdryer, complimentary WiFi, air conditioning and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bathtub, twin wash basins and bathrobes.

The elegant Aquamadre Restaurant offers a revitalizing breakfast, rejuvenating lunch and a refined dinner with traditional cuisine and international influences based on a wide selection of classic Mediterranean dishes featuring typical Sicilian flavours and the best local ingredients.  These include the famous red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, tasty Sicilian blood oranges and artichokes.

Spend the day by the pool and enjoy delicious cocktails and appetizing snacks at the Citrus Pool Bar. For an evening aperitif, be lulled by the ambience of the Turchinu Lounge & Terrace.

Situated 45km from Trapani airport and 112km from Palermo airport, Alamar Giardino di Costanza Resort is 7km from Mazara del Vallo in south west Sicily featuring a fascinating mix of culture, history, ethnicity and art.  The town was originally founded in the 9th century by the Phoenicians only to flourish in its later years under the Arabs and the Normans.  Due to its diverse history, Mazara del Vallo has an interesting old town with a number of historical and architectural attractions such as the Castello ruins, museum, cathedral, numerous churches and Arabic-style back streets. There is a tree lined sea front with cafes, bars and restaurants. The town is known for its seafood restaurants and there is a choice of sandy or pebble beaches.

From the hotel it is possible to visit some renowned Sicilian landmarks such as: The historic town of Marsala (28km) famous for its wine;  The ancient salt pans of Marsala (36km) with red-roofed windmills; Donnafugata Winery (26km) one of Italy’s finest wineries praised by wine worldwide with various estates, including the historic cellar in Marsala in the beautiful Contessa Entellina country house with daily tours and tastings; The famous archaeological site of Selinunte (33km) incorporating Greek temples, ancient town walls, ruins of residential and commercial buildings, countryside paths and zones not yet excavated, and  those with interest may also wish to visit the Cusa Quarries (13km north west) which were indispensable in the construction of the city of Selinunte and its temples in 409BC.
