Is Palermo worth visiting?

Exterior scenes were filmed at the San Domenico Palace where visitors can book for drinks and dinner at the hotel. Some scenes were set on the beach by Isola Bella in Taormina Mare and also featured the majestic Greek amphitheatre with Mount Etna beyond.

Located in the Province of Syracuse, this Baroque style town is rich in history and architecture. In 2002, the town and its church were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, Noto invites explorers to wander through the winding streets, discover the Cathedrals and Churches, and enjoy the many Piazzas covered in cafes, bars and restaurants. Along Corso Vittorio Emanuele are many of Noto’s most notable buildings, including Palazzo Ducrezio and the Jesuit Church and College. If visiting in May, find the yearly Infiorata Festival, celebrating all things spring and summer with a colourful fiesta.
